Nourished participation of the Academy in the first stops of the calendar of route 2019

With the arrival of the month of May the season of route for the cycling academies of the Community of Madrid has begun. A calendar that has begun with intensity from the first day of the month. On 1 May, the town of Villarejo de Salvanés hosted the first edition of the Mariano Díaz Memorial. This Sunday, parallel to the celebration of the Macario Grand Prix that closed the Elite and U23 Spanish Cup, Alcalá de Henares hosted its III Trofeo de Escuelas Gran Premio Shimano.

In the city of Cervantes, on a 1,120 meter circuit where a large representation of the Cycling Academy Plaza Éboli of the Alberto Contador Foundation attended, the first year child Sara Anton signed the most outstanding performance with its second place in its category.  Fourth in the same event was Irene del Puerto. Samuel Ortiz (5th), Adrián Molina (7th), Daniel Sánchez (12th) and Andrés Carmona (16th) took part in the men’s race.

Alejandro Fernández (12th), Miguel Sirviente (15th), Sergio Rubio (18th) and Irene Pardo (4th) took part in the fry competitions.  Álvaro Martínez (5º), Tomás Franco (7º) and Marcos Santiago (20º) were the representatives of the Academy in the test for Principals.

In Alcalá de Henares there were also Gymkanas. Daniel Sánchez (6th), Samuel Ortiz (11th), Samuel Loures (15th), Andrés Carmona (18th), Rafael Sirviente (23rd) and Adrián Molina (24th) took part in the men’s race. In the female Sara Antón finished third, while her partner Irene del Puerto finished fifth.

Days before, the appointment of Villarejo de Salvanés was celebrated on an urban circuit of 1,5 kilometers in which the paved one had great protagonism. In the children’s category, Daniel Sánchez, with a ninth place, and Sara Antón, with the third place in the women’s race, were the most outstanding riders of the Academy, which was attended by fifteen boys and girls.
